Mindful Garden
About this event
Grow calm. Cultivate presence. Connect through nature.
Step away from the rush of everyday life and into the grounding rhythm of the garden.
Join us for Mindful Garden, a gentle, outdoor session where we explore a different foundational attitude of mindfulness each week—such as patience, non-striving, or beginner’s mind—through guided meditation, group reflection, and hands-on gardening.
We begin with a short, accessible meditation and discussion to help us arrive fully in the present moment. With our intention set, we step into the garden space—planting herbs, tending vegetables, weeding, watering, or simply observing the natural world around us.
This class is about more than gardening. It’s about slowing down, tuning in, and allowing ourselves to grow alongside the plants—with curiosity, compassion and care.
Whether you're an experienced gardener or a complete beginner, this session offers:
A practical way to explore mindfulness through everyday actions
A chance to connect with nature and your local community
An opportunity to deepen your understanding of the attitudes of mindfulness
A calm, inclusive space to pause, reflect, and breathe
